Anthropic says Claude Haiku 5.5 is available in Claude, the Claude API, AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Foundry. The company positions it for high-volume work, including summarization, classification, routing, focused coding and agent sub-tasks. It is the first Haiku release with effort controls; published pricing starts at $0.10 per million input tokens and $0.50 per million output tokens for prompts up to 100K tokens.
Teams can use a smaller model for the repetitive, latency-sensitive steps inside an agent workflow while tuning depth against cost. Anthropic’s availability across major clouds also reduces the work of fitting that pattern into existing infrastructure.

OpenRouter lists Perplexity’s Decider V1.1 27B as a new deployed checkpoint that consumes text, JSON or images and returns typed probabilistic outputs rather than prose. It supports yes/no, multiple-choice and scored-rubric answers, with up to 128 named questions over the same input, a 262K context window, and listed pricing of $0.02 per million input tokens with no output-token charge.
Typed probabilities let applications route work, classify content, moderate inputs or apply thresholds without parsing free-form model text. That makes the model a lightweight decision component for systems that need explicit, auditable choices.
