OpenRouter lists GPT-6 Luna Decisions as released on 6 October. Rather than generating prose, the API returns typed probabilistic answers for yes/no, multiple-choice and scored questions over text, JSON or images; one request can carry up to 200 questions about the same content.
Typed probabilities can replace brittle parsing in classification, routing, moderation and rubric workflows. Teams can define thresholds in their own application code instead of extracting a decision from a chat response.

Anthropic has combined Project Glasswing and its Cyber Verification Program into a three-tier program: Defense Access, Red Team Access and Specialized Access. The company says qualifying security professionals can apply for advanced capabilities with verification requirements and controls matched to the authorized work.
Frontier cyber capability is increasingly an access-and-controls issue, not simply a model-selection issue. The program makes authorization, safeguards and monitoring part of how higher-risk functionality reaches defenders.

OpenRouter added Mistral Large 4 on 7 October, following reporting that Mistral’s new flagship is an open-weight mixture-of-experts model with one trillion total parameters and 49 billion active parameters. The model’s performance claims remain vendor-reported and await independent evaluation.
A large open-weight frontier model expands deployment, regional-hosting and customization choices for organizations that need more control over inference and governance. It should be assessed on workloads and independent benchmarks before procurement decisions.
