OpenAI has made its Decisions API generally available. Built with GPT-6 Luna, it is designed for bounded answers from text, images and structured inputs; OpenAI says it can handle up to 400 questions in a request. The product also includes native JSON inputs, prompt caching, GPT-Live integration and US/EU inference residency.
This is a lower-latency control layer for agent applications: teams can separate routing, classification and action choices from open-ended generation. The trade-off is scope—use it for defined choices, not as a replacement for full reasoning or workflow governance.

Uber is rolling out ChatGPT Work across its global workforce after a 1,000-employee pilot, according to OpenAI. The agentic platform connects with Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar and Slack so employees can research, prepare meeting briefs, create presentations, analyse data and complete workflows across applications.
Moving from pilot to company-wide deployment is a meaningful operating signal. Connected agents can reduce coordination work, but the value depends on access controls, data policy, auditability and well-designed approval paths across the systems where work actually happens.
