NTT DATA and Palo Alto Networks announced a multi-year global alliance to help enterprises deploy AI securely, combining Palo Alto’s platforms and Unit 42 threat intelligence with NTT DATA’s consulting, engineering and managed services.
The partnership packages AI security platforms, threat intelligence and global services into one enterprise route to deployment. Buyers gain implementation capacity, but should still test governance, integration and outcome claims in their own environments.

Adversa AI disclosed “Cryptographic Context Injection,” a research finding in which encrypted attacker instructions can be decrypted inside an agent’s code runtime and then influence privileged tool use. The researchers said their Grok test was still reproducible on 19 August.
The key operational lesson is about the agent harness: fetched or decrypted text must not automatically acquire trusted status. Security teams should trace provenance, constrain tool calls and monitor risky input-to-action chains.
